Emily sulking after I told her she had to come in to wash her face. She got quite dirty!
Kathryn & Ryan in the church courtyard after Mass on Easter Sunday. They could barely tolerate smiling/posing as the sun was shining right in their eyes. Emily was running away and would not come to join in the picture!
Yea! Everyone is looking at the camera! Taken on Easter Sunday.
I caught a squirrel munching on an avocado in our backyard.
The latest project I'm working on. It's a crocheted afghan with Minnie Mouse cross stitched on it. I'm embarrased to say that I started this right before Kathryn (aged 10) was going to start Kindergarten!!!! She is now in the 4th grade!!!! I had gotten bogged down with the cross stitch. It was taking forever. So I stopped, picked it up again probably a couple of years later, then got bogged down again. Well, I picked it back up again and finally completed Minnie's face. It doesn't show it in the photo, but it is completed. I now need to do her dress, then her feet. Then I'm supposed to crochet squares to border all around the afghan. Still a lot of work to be done, but I vow to finish it! I told Kathryn maybe it will be a gift for her first daughter, LOL!
This is a close-up view of Minnie's face.
Well, that's it for now!

Hi there Lisa.
Sorry it's been a while since I dropped by. I've cut down my PC time alot since lent and I think I'll be closing my blog down:0(
I just wanted to thankyou for the comment you left @ Emmy's blog. She got a real kick out of that!
Take Care
God bless

Hi Lisa,
Your kids are so cute! And where on earth do you live that you have an AVOCADO tree in your yard? I'm envious!
Don't feel too bad about the afghan. I started crocheting a very simple one (no fancy designs at all) in college (ahem, that would be about 15 years ago!), and I still haven't finished it. Of course, it's not as though I work on it every day....or even, EVER. It's still in the same bag I put it in after I my last session of working on it, which was probably 10 years ago. It WILL get done one of these days.....if I can remember how the pattern goes! :)
I love the Easter picture with Kathryn, Ryan and Emily. Could you make me a hard copy? I'd like to have it out at home.
How's our Rusty doing? LOL
Wonderful pictures!!!!
Thank you ladies for your comments!
Suzy, I've missed you during Lent and I'll miss reading your beautiful poetry and thoughts. If you get a chance please stop by and say hello. And let me know if you ever return to blogging. May you continue to grow in the Lord and God bless you and your sweet family! Give Emmy a little hug from me! Take care! :)
Minnie is darling and very GOOD!!! Ryan reminds me of my David, now 37, is a "die hard" Cub fan. For 30 year a fan...It looks like a gathering of the Fans! God bless and have a Grand Day
Hi Lisa,
I love the new look of your blog. It looks great.
As far as your afgan you are persevering. Many people don't pick it back up. I bet it will be treasured by Kathryn when you have finished it.
I love the Easter photos. Our Easter (which is usually very hot) was very mild and a bit on the cool side.It didn't stop the children from swimming at the foreshore.
Lisa, you did a great job! And good for you for persevering!
